THE STORY BEHIND VERIWINE
Like many great and beautiful things in life, VERIWINE was created over a good glass of wine.
Rahul Sen Gupta had the first idea in 2016, which he has since continuously expanded into a digital offering.
The wine industry is extremely fragmented: countless small producers and retailers share the market. As a result, there is often a lack of exchange between those involved. Especially in the higher-priced segment, there are only very complex and expensive ways for consumers to check the authenticity of a wine.
In addition, even today it is not always easy to get all the information you need to get the perfect drinking pleasure - from the grape varieties contained to the storage period and ideal drinking windows.
These challenges and others led to a solution: VERIWINE.
